Sticky Pineapple Cauliflower

This recipe for Sticky Pineapple Cauliflower is a great mix of sweet and savory tastes. The sweet cauliflower and juicy pineapple go well together. They are all covered in a sticky glaze made of soy sauce, maple syrup, and fragrant spices. This vegan treat is sure to please your taste buds

Ingredients:

  • 1 small head cauliflower, chopped into florets
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions:

Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C

Add rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and maple syrup to a bowl

Mix them together

On a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper, put the pineapple chunks and cauliflower florets

Make sure the sauce covers all of the cauliflower and pineapple when you pour it over them

For 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is soft and caramelized, roast it in an oven that has already been heated

Make a slurry with water and cornstarch in a small bowl

Put the pineapple and cauliflower that you roasted in a skillet over medium-low heat

Pour the cornstarch slurry over the cauliflower and pineapple

Keep stirring for about two to three minutes, or until the sauce thickens and sticks together

Before serving, top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds
