Mocha Smoothie

This Mocha Smoothie is creamy and wakes you up. It tastes great with the rich flavors of coffee and cocoa. Excellent for getting you through the day or as a nice treat during the holidays.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, chilled
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sweetener of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions:

Peel and slice the banana

In a blender, combine the banana slices, chilled brewed coffee, milk, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, and ice cubes

Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting sweetness to taste if necessary

Pour into glasses and serve immediately
