Shrimp & Snow Peas Stir Fry
A delightful stir-fry dish featuring succulent shrimp and crisp snow peas coated in a savory sweet sauce. This dish is bursting with flavor and perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups snow peas, trimmed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions:
Add hoisin sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, water, and soy sauce to a small bowl
Mix them together to make the sauce
Put away
Put vegetable oil in a big pan or wok and heat it over medium-high heat
Put in the minced garlic and ginger
Saut for 30 seconds, until the smell is nice
It will take about two to three minutes for the shrimp to turn pink after you add them to the pan
After you add the snow peas, cook for two more minutes, until they are soft but still have some crunch
Add the shrimp and snow peas to the sauce that you have already made
Mix everything together well to cover it all
Allow the sauce to thicken for two more minutes of cooking
Add pepper and salt to taste
Put the hot shrimp and snow pea stir-fry on top of cooked rice
